The Creators

DINA SORAYA GREGORY (Bookwriter/Lyricist) is a graduate of Oxford University and New York University’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program. She is bookwriter & lyricist for the musicals, Melissa’s Maelstrom (ENO’s New Visions New Voices winner, 1994), In Nomine Amoris (Vivian Ellis Prize, 1997), Willy & Rupert (O’Neill Music Theater Conference, 2005), Falling (Daegu International Musical Festival, 2010), and Hello Sky (produced by OperaLancaster, Pa., 2010). Additionally, she is lyricist for My Marcello (selected for BEAM2018, Theatre Royal Stratford East, London) and librettist for Where No Bell Tolls (commissioned by National Opera Studio, performed at Hoxton Hall and at Grimeborn, Arcola Theatre, London). Dina also pens lyrics for choral music, published by Heritage Music Press, and for songs performed by twin sister/singer-songwriter, Rosabella. She is currently working on a fantasy novel, several children’s books, and a new opera about Maud Allan. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, Inc.

ALISA BAIR (Co-Bookwriter/Lyricist and Composer) is a graduate of East Carolina University's School of Music and New York University’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program. Her music and words have been published by Columbia Pictures Publications, CPP/Belwin, Hope Publishing, Heritage Music Press, Choristers Guild, Subito Music Publishing, Guideposts, Good Books (with foreign translations), and Walnut Street Books. She is the composer of the bi-lingual musical, Otro Planeta (Kristin Page Stuart, Bookwriter/Lyricist), and Hello Sky, which had its five-day, sold-out premiere with OperaLancaster in Pa. She is also librettist for The Lost Son, (Neal S. Harnly, composer), commissioned by Soli Deo Gloria, which had its world premiere in 2010 with the renowned Indianapolis Children’s Choir. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, Inc.
